Haven House has been wrapped in warmth and love!
We recently welcomed the Busy Hands Quilters to HAVEN HOUSE for their annual Holiday Luncheon. What a wonderful way to bring comfort and joy to our rebuilt shelter.
The many women, and one hard working man, gathered to discuss all things quilting but also to present their donations to Haven House.
Each quilt, hand made by members, will be given to a woman or child who needs it, and can be taken with them when they leave. Along with beautiful quilts, the Busy Hands also donated pillow cases and other much needed items. The members are involved in many ways with Haven House; volunteering, donating, creating and even attending our events. They put love and care into each stitch of their work and they share that with women and children who are escaping domestic abuse and violence. Thank you for your visit and for your ongoing support in so many ways.
