The students of St. John’s-Kilmarnock School, lead by their teacher Mr. Pitt, have made the summer a little bit happier for some of the children in our Anselma House shelter.
During the school year, the students were busy fixing, tuning, recycling and refurbishing. During all of this time, they were learning not only technical and life skills, but also about giving back to their community.
Three of the bikes that they built were then donated to Anselma House!
We are very proud to accept this special gift and to give them to children to help make their summer an active, healthy and happy one.
Thank you Mr. Pitt and the students of SJK for your generosity!
