What is The Neighbourhood?

The Neighbourhood is our supportive monthly donor community at Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.

Our monthly donors are key to our organization. You provide us with consistent, reliable support so we can continue working towards our mission: a community free from violence and abuse.

We created The Neighbourhood as a way to recognize and reward monthly donors because none of what we do is possible without our community.

As a member of the Neighbourhood, you will get…

  • Special Quarterly Impact Updates See how your monthly support helps survivors rebuild their lives

  • Neighbourhood Newsletter Monthly stories and education tips from She Is Your Neighbour

  • Learning Opportunities Public education sessions on domestic violence prevention and our programs

  • Exclusive Surprises Donor-versary perks and milestone recognition

  • A Stronger Community Be part of a movement creating a future free from violence

Your monthly gift means she can count on us

Becoming a monthly donor means providing steady and reliable support for women and children moving beyond violence. Your generosity helps us meet urgent needs now, while also building long-term, wraparound services that help families heal and prevent violence in our community.

Through The Neighbourhood, your ongoing support helps provide safety today and hope for tomorrow.

Join us in creating a future free from violence — one month at a time.

My workers literally changed my life and were my guardian angels during the hardest period of my life. I have no idea what I would have done without the support and guidance I received.
