On October 24, 2017, volunteers with KW Soup Sisters gathered at The Culinary Studio to make hundreds of bowels of delicious and nutritious soup for Anselma House. Soup Sisters founder Sharon Hapton dropped in from Calgary. Thank you all for chopping, cutting and grating your way towards the five fantastic soups that you made for the women and children at Anselma House (Chick Pea, Butter Chicken, Beef Pasta, Spicy Thai Carrot, & Lachlan Minestrone). We’re getting hungry just writing about it!

Every time KW Soup Sisters comes together and makes soup, the women and children at our shelter not only become better nourished, but also nurtured by members of their own community. When you deliver your homemade and nourishing soup, you also deliver a strong message of concern that reaches our women and young people directly. Thanks!

A volunteer with KW Soup Sisters donates a pot of delicious homemade soup to Alan Sharpe, Fund Development Manager with Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.
