Working with their partners at WINNERS and HOMESENSE, the Canadian Women’s Foundation launched a 
campaign in JUNE 2016 to end violence against women across Canada.
Nationally, this campaign raised $2.2 million and some of those funds stay right here in our region. Haven House and Anselma house each received a $1,100 donation from this campaign to support our work with women and children escaping domestic violence.

The Canadian Women’s Foundation continues to be a valuable resource and partner to hundreds of shelters and agencies who work each day to keep women safe and to eradicate violence, empower girls, end poverty and create leaders of tomorrow.
