Gore Mutual Foundation Donates $100,000 to Rebuild Haven House in Cambridge
The Gore Mutual Foundation is honoured to announce their support of Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region, with a grant of $100,000 towards the campaign: Rebuild Haven House¦She Deserves It.
Heidi Sevcik, President and CEO of Gore Mutual and Farouk Ahamed, Chair of the Board of Gore Mutual, presented a donation to Mary Zilney, CEO of Women’s Crisis Services, towards the rebuild of Haven House, a shelter supporting women and their children fleeing abusive homes in Cambridge, Ontario and North Dumfries Township
The Gore Mutual Foundation has a commitment to supporting local initiatives, with a priority to protecting families and keeping them safe from harm. Partnering with Women’s Crisis Services and their campaign to Rebuild Haven House was a natural fit, as we commit to a community without violence and abuse Heidi Sevcik, President and CEO, Gore Mutual Insurance Company.
We are pleased that our donation will aid in the effort to rebuild the Haven House.
