This holiday season, the greatest gift you can give families is the gift of hope— the gift of a safer, brighter tomorrow.

If you asked a child what the holidays are like in our shelter, they might say something like this:

Our shelters aren’t home, but they are safe, warm and welcoming—everything a home should be.

Sadly, a safe home is not the reality for the children we support.

Some traditions may change when families stay in shelter, however our staff work tirelessly to ensure this time of year feels as merry and bright as possible.

With your support, we can provide hope and healing to women and children experiencing domestic violence this holiday season.

Donating $25 can provide 1-hour of crisis support and safety planning via our support lines.

Donating $50 can provide diapers, wipes and formula for babies in emergency shelter.

Donating $125 can provide one day of care to a client staying in shelter.

Donating $500 can provide a month of our in-shelter group therapy Moving Beyond programming.

Donating $1,000 can provide one week of care for a family staying in our emergency shelter.

Donating $5,000 can provide 125 therapeutic counselling sessions  for children and families.

Thank you so much for all the support I received. My workers literally changed my life and were my guardian angels during the hardest period of my life. I have no idea what I would have done without the support and guidance I received.

— Former Outreach Client

I could not have survived the many things I have had to deal with in the last three years without my case worker’s empathy and support in many different ways.

— Former Shelter Client

My primary worker was super kind and accommodating. And I love it most when she says “We will figure it out together.” It reminds me that I am not alone.

— Former Shelter Resident

Together, we are giving hope to women and children moving beyond domestic violence.
