Easter came early a couple of weeks ago when our friends at St. Jacobs Furniture House called us with some great news. They donated 25 brand new throw blankest to Women’s Crisis Services. They MUST know that blankets are always in need and remain on our WISH LIST.
These blankets will be given to women to keep them warm and comfort them as they heal from trauma and abuse. And as they leave shelter, they can take these blankets with them as the start their new life.
It is our goal to be able to provide some of the most essential items to women both while they stay at Anselma House or Haven House, and as they leave.
Through partnership with generous donors in our community, like St. Jacobs Furniture house, we can continue to provide comfort and encouragement to move beyond violence.
