Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region is honoured to announce another great partnership to help us REBUILD HAVEN HOUSE from the Cambridge Community! Thank you to GARSTON MOTORS who directed their charitable support to help women and children who are escaping domestic abuse.
Garston Motors has a reputation for giving back to the local community and continually asking their charities what else they can do to make an immediate impact. In fact, a quick visit to their office/showroom on Witmer Street in Cambridge will show you their “wall of support” in which they feature their charities of choice and how they have made an impact on families, neighbours and friends right here in our region.
Serving the Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, & Guelph area, Garston Motors is a retailer of Pre-owned vehicles. This donation of $5,000 is made possible because of the Cambridge community and the customers that rely on Garston Motors.
It takes an entire community to be successful in a campaign of this magnitude.
Located at the corner of Acorn Way and Elgin Street, the rebuilt Haven House will increase current capacity from 30 beds to 45 beds, will accommodate adequate space for programming and partnerships, and be an environment conducive to healing.
