TEAM WORK!
Thank you to the Cambridge Roadrunners Bantam BB Team! This December they collected warm, cozy and stylish socks for everyone at HAVEN HOUSE. That’s a lot of socks! The best part about it is that they came together as a team and decided to dedicate this selfless act to Women’s Crisis Services and the people in shelter this season. As winter is upon us, each one of the people who live with us need a warm pair of socks- and now we have them!
Along with socks, this Cambridge girls hockey team also provided gift cards. For us, gift cards mean so much. They help us with the very specific and personal care that each woman and child needs and deserves. Gift cards also provide independence and confidence, and the freedom to make choices, things that some of our clients have not had for a very long time.
The Roadrunners visited Haven House to drop off the donations in person and we were so happy that they came to our home. We are proud that this incredible group of young women chose us and that they wanted to understand and learn more about our work. Thank you for your team work and support!
