Welcome to our 4th annual Mother’s Day fundraiser, Hats Off to Mom! This year, moms have been working extra hard to keep their families and communities safe. On Mother’s Day, let’s show our appreciation for everything they do! All proceeds raised will support the women and children at Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.
Join us for a fun and unique experience this Mother’s Day. We’re so excited to treat your moms, while helping our moms!
We encourage you to put on your best hat, take a photo, and share it on social media! Tag us @WomensCrisisSWR and make sure to use the hashtag #HatsOff2021, then tell us something you love about your mom.
About the Event
Hats off to Mom! will take place virtually on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at 11:00 am featuring live music from local favourite, Juneyt.
Supporters selected from a variety of specialty packages, featuring delicious brunch boxes curated by New Galt Market, as well as DIY activities to enjoy at home (such as learning to make your own fascinator!), a special Mother’s Day Spotify playlist, Mother’s Day movie suggestions, and other great ideas to pamper mom on her special day as well as early access to our virtual silent auction.

By purchasing a mask, you are helping women and children move beyond violence to live safer, happier lives.
Mask Details:
- Masks are light blue with a dragonfly printed on the left side
- Masks are breathable, reusable and ideal for repeated use and washings
- Masks have ear loops and a built-in filter
- Each mask has 3 layers of protection. The shell is a double knit polyester fabric that has a bit of stretch. The center layer is a filter that is made of non-woven polyester. And the internal liner is a polyester grid mesh for breathability and comfort.
